Equally rare are the two private bedroom suites, each of which has a large bedroom with queen-size bed, a separate dressing room with completely buit-in storage, and a full bath; one also has a large separate sitting room with even more built-in storage. Other sought-after features include a paneled library/study/TV room with two desks and sleep sofa, and a 32" LCD/HDTV, a third full bath next to the library, a spacious bright kitchen with an equally spacious breakfast area seating six, a full laundry room with separate washer and dryer (and iron, ironing board, and interior clotheslines), and two balconies running the width of the building front and back.

The apartment is located on Avenida Callao, one of Buenos Aires’ most beautiful and busiest avenues, providing instant access to the city’s throb and its excellent public transportation system. Yet, due to the apartment’s size and design, it provides perfect quiet for living and sleeping as if in the country, another rarity in Buenos Aires. The living room, sitting area and bar, and formal dining room open through two sets of glass French doors onto the balcony overlooking the avenue, from which one can observe the city’s striking architecture for several blocks in each direction. The kitchen and breakfast area are behind this front area, overlooking an interior courtyard, and receive no city noise. The location is unbeatable for living in and exploring the city. The famous Recoleta Cemetery and Avenida Alvear, the luxury shopping district (including Patio Bullrich), are only four blocks away. The main mid-range shopping district, Avenida Santa Fe, is only two blocks. Plaza San Martin, Avenida Florida (the famous pedestrian shopping street), Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada, the Botanical Gardens, the zoo, Puerto Madero, and all of the major art and design museums can be reached on foot in 20 - 40 minutes, or by cab in 5 - 10 minutes. Every imaginable necessity for day-to-day living -- super markets, cafes, neighborhood restaurants, take-out prepared food, vegetable and fruit stands, bakeries, butchers, seafood shops, delicatessens, laundries, pharmacies, hair parlors, flower and news kiosks, shoe repair shops, tailors, and so on -- are available many times over within one to three blocks in every direction from the apartment.
