The main mid-range shopping district, Avenida Santa Fe, is only two blocks. Plaza San Martin, Avenida Florida (the famous pedestrian shopping street), Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada, the Botanical Gardens, the zoo, Puerto Madero, and all of the major art and design museums can be reached on foot in 20 - 40 minutes, or by cab in 5 - 10 minutes.
